The Beatles V The Rolling Stones would be about Glasonbury's current standard. Playing to mp3 pre records and with a bunch of fit dancing backing vocalists and a bunch of old 60s film clips for the visuals.

Oasis were a fantastic band but I wouldn't want them to headline next year. Liam Gallagher played with Beady Eye in 2014 (I think) and he sounded awful. Voice completely gone.

The sweet lord jesus is rumoured to have walked there, and there are many ley lines intersecting there, and they have a tor and it wouldn't surprise me if there is a great big spaceship that has been undergorund for millions of years.
Worth a visit.

What's Glastonbury, as opposed to the muddy fields near Glastonbury, like?
My maternal 19th century ancestors moved to Corfe Castle from there.
(Of course, they were probably used to muddy fields...)

I collect vinyl for starters, lots of Reggae and old stuff like Bowie and Floyd, PJ Harvey..........
I like all genres and all eras as long as it's good so impossible to list.
Of the newer stuff I love Drum and Bass esp Hospital records stuff and events. Band or artist wise stuff like Warp Records stuff, The Marley Bros, Caribou, Metronomy, Disclosure and Sleaford Mods etc. but was into them all before they played at Glastonbury and the masses got involved.
Been in and around the music biz for years as I have many mates in it or who were in it and I have even done a remix for Warp Records and managed a couple of bands. Known the Sleaford Mods for years even before the current duo met each other.
